- Description Traded this JDM beauty for some hard labor by putting in a sprinkler system. The previous owner purchased it in Japan while he was stationed there for the armed forces and had it shipped over when he returned in 1984, were it sat in his drive way for over 20 years do to a clutch issue. I acquired it in 2004, replaced the clutch slave cylinder, sprayed some ether and it fired right up. I drove it for the second half of my senior year of high school until the clutch started to slip. Then I made the very rash decision to under take a complete restoration of the vehicle(to my dismay!!). I tore it down to the unibody and suspension, sand blasted it, sanded it and primer ed it. Then life happened. I've since gotten married, bought a house, and had three beautiful children. I hope to have some extra time and money to resume work on it within the next year. I'll try to keep updates. We'll see how it goes.
