What Datsun steering wheel is this?

Featured Replies

I bought this, thinking about installing it for different, yet still "Datsun" steering wheel for my 240Z... anybody know what car its from? And how to remove the horn button so I can try mounting it in my car?

I'm guessing its from a roadster, but i have never owned one, so its just a guess:ermm:

Well thanks for the guess :-) Whatever it is, it doesn't fit in a Z: the Z's spindle is too big. Too bad, 'cause it would've looked cool IMHO

Not a roadster, my guess would b e aftermarket. The roadster has the same spindle/spline spec as the Z. I just had a 70 SPL 1600 come over for a SU tune-up with a 75 280 wheel. it fit mechanically, but stuck out like a sore thumb aesthetically. Too much dish. I could bearly get into the drivers seat.

Hmmm well its got that big D for Datsun on it... maybe its from a 510 or *gasp* Bluebird? :-) Whatever it is, if the guy I bought it from doesn't take it back, I'll just put it back on E-bay :-)

Looks like the one that was in my 76 B210, but with polished spokes. Maybe out of a 200SX around that same year?

*could* be out of a B210, maybe the spokes were painted silver. If they were, somebody did a really nice job of it :-)

I believe its a 510, but i gotta check up on that, not too sure, steering wheel's are the least of my worries.

510 sounds about right... If I wasn't so lazy, it'd be back on e-bay by now :-\
