The little Z won a sponsor award at today's "Cars in the Park". Came as a complete surprise! It's just a small plaque, but when you don't expect anything...

Best "foreign" car went to a pristene, bright red DeTamaso Mangusta. Other cars in the "foreign class" were a DeTamaso Pantera, a highly customized Jag XK, an absolutely stunning XKE convertible, and a couple Ferrari's.

I also won a nice raffle prize, a "Duracell DPP-600HD Powerpack 600 Jump Starter & Emergency Power Source". Not a bad day!

There were over 200 cars of all types, including a baja racer and a Mad Max-esce rat rod.

A few of the cars had amazing paint jobs that I can't even venture a guess at the cost. The "best engine" winner was a chromed and color-plate masterpiece that was so clean it could have been built in a hospital operating room.
