I am thinking of getting a pertronix ignition kit at Motorsport.

Anyone did install this an can give me it`s comment on the thing.

Hi.

I have one installed on the 240Z with a new 3ohm flamethrower coil. works a treat. There are plenty of threads on the subject. As a tip I made sure I keep all the bits from the contact breaker set up in the car as a back up just in case.

As a rule I have fitted these to many cars over the years. Mg midgets, Tr6, Austin healeys, landrovers and never had a problem with any of them.

Great buy - be sure to do your research on the coil and resistor.

The single best thing I ever did for 721's performance. Greatly improved starting and driveability. Stock coil w/ballast resistor bypassed. No problems at all.
