Purchased remanufactured starter for my '77 280z, the problem i have is the wire from starter is opposite from the one on the car. Will it make a difference which stud the battery in connected to as long as the starter is wired to the other ?

Had to get the Z running, one of the kids cars is broke again so Dad gets to give up his car, just decided to hook it up. It worked ok
