what's the oil capacity?

5 US Quarts w/fitler, and even though the 78 owners manual says 4 3/4, I'm sure they're all the same. I always used 5 qts in my 78.

I am a little confused, my 77' 280z has the bypass system from amsoil, so i added an extra 1/2 qt. of oil for the large bypass filter, (5 1/2 qts.). When i checked the oil, it indicated above the H mark on the dip stick ?
