hi all !

I just picked a full intake/ setup with take off a "running car"

and here are some pics if you could help me out!

should there be a gasket under the dome?

front carb Does it it need that thumb lock screw?

back carb with thumb screw but no rubber seal between bowl and carb. Does it need one?

Also these are off a 72 and I went threw them every thing moves great nothing is stuck!

but i'm running them on a 260z would i need to swap out the springs at all or throw them on and see what happens?

From what I remember the SU's dont use a gasket underneath the dome, at least mine never had them. The "thumbscrews" that you are referring too are actually the mixture screws, turn them right to go leaner and left to go richer. I think 2.5 half turns out is usually a good place to start, but dont quote me on that. As far as the rubber "seal" I think its just there to dampen vibrations from the carb to the bowl.

also as for the gasket i was looking at the only book i have which is a 4 screw carb book and they run gaskets

There is no gasket under the dome.

The missing gizzy under the body doesn't do anything except keep the nozzle from backing out, which it won't.

The rubber gizzy orients the float bowl for level. Ir you need one call me.
