hello

hi, i'm matt and i've just joined the club. I joined because i'm about to buy a 1973 datsun 240Z. I'm a 25 yr old squaddie with a keen interest in classics and have always wanted a 240Z. It's a lot of money for me so any advice i can get on this purchase i'd be grateful for. The body work seems sound, no blistering paintwork, no rust in door jams or around the boot lid, can't see any in the engine bay, inside is nice too with the seats and upholstery in good condition. The car has done 76,000miles. MY MAIN CONCERN is the chassis, i can't inspect that, are there any tell tale signs? Thankn you very much for your time. matt
