Posted September 6, 200816 yr comment_259496 I am having a little problem with the trust issue while I am selling my car. I am getting asked personal questions right off the bat!!! Any guidelines to offer me??? So far he has my email address and name but I have not given anything else except what is required in the ad. I asked for his info and all I get are more question of me. Worrying about personal identity might be getting in the way of a sale here but I want to be safe. I mean he doesn't need my full name and full address, home and cell number when he hasn't even asked much about "the item" (as he put it) does he????ThanksSomething is fishy here. September 6, 200816 yr comment_259499 Don't give anyone any more information than they give you-and you can verify. If you are selling a car, he needs the car info, and some contact info. Arrange to meet him at a local police station if he presses the issue, but give him the address, not the "Business name". If he is unwilling to share the same information you have given, he probably is not interested in your car.How is the car advertised? Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29303-classified/#findComment-259499 Share on other sites
September 6, 200816 yr comment_259500 Personal identity is more important than the sale of a car. I'd steer clear of this buyer unless he wanted to do it under my terms. In fact, I'd probably steer clear of him anyway due to the 'bad vibe' that scenario would likely have given me.
