if I would do it by myself?..How hard would it be?

When are you looking to do this? I've done a few tranny swaps on my car and have it down to a science.

anytime your available! :D

Is your car presently and auto or 4 speed? I ask because 4 speed to 5 speed is a lot easier that auto to 5 speed. Have you given any thought to the speedo pinion? If it's presently an auto, need a 17t and if it's stick you'll need a 16t to keep your speedo accurate. Provided that you still have the stock differential in your 73.

Its a 5spd. So I already have a 5spd to replace it.

Have you replaced it yet? I apologize for not replying earlier, but the site went down for a few days.
