weber: gasket only?

Featured Replies

Zenic,

Have you searched the web? There should be plenty of sources for Weber parts.

By some chance, is the gasket you are refering to on the banjo fitting made from copper? If so, you can reuse it if you anneal it (making it soft again). Heat the sucker up until it just turns cherry red and then quickly drop it is water....should be good to go again!

I get mine from an local shop that deals with high performance Volkswagens. He's has a bunch of loose Weber parts and as I recall, they're only like 30 cents ea. if your're talking about the same fiber gaskets I have on the the 40DCOE that's on my 320 PU. I would even think you could match them up with something at the local hardware store or even cut your own if you don't have a shop like that nearby.

So, I quess they're not copper however, it is pretty common to use copper ring seals on banjo fittings. You may, like Stephen suggests, find a simliar seal or fabricate one.
