Posted May 14, 200619 yr comment_167462 That's what those two odd screws are for on the left side of the front bumper, except mine are rusted and the slot in the head doesn't look too strong. So since you are required to have a license plate on the front in my state, I'll probably need the plate frame too.Except the parts CD doesn't show a good picture of the front license plate frame.thx. May 14, 200619 yr comment_167473 They didn't have a frame, except in Canada. There are four holes, two for the Japan size plates and two for the smaller plates. The plate bolts or screws directly to the bumper. May 21, 200619 yr Author comment_168268 I'll try to get those screws out next week, but it won't be easy(screw slots look stripped). Do you thinj I could get or make a license plate fram to bolt into those holes? I measured, and you were correct, as the distance between the holes is less than the U.S. plates. I thyink an off-set bracket would work.thx Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20040-what-did-the-frt-license-plate-frame-look-like/#findComment-168268 Share on other sites
