Just wondering if this air valve will work on a 280z, it looks the same!

No, that one won't work, at least not right. You want the one from the early 80s 6cyl BMW. 0 280 140 124 is the Bosch number. I've used those for years on both my 810 and 280Z. They seem to last longer than the oem JECS part. We touched on this a little bit in a thread a couple of years ago.

I went ahead and got it anyways:stupid:, I will try anyways it couldnt hurt since the one thats on there doesnt work at all.
