IGNITION diagram for Pertronix

Please check out the attachment. I want to know if this MSD / pertronix setup will work! I bought a tach adapter from MSD but I don't know how to set that up yet.

Please let me know especially if the red wire from the Pertronix can be spliced into the red from the MSD for the 12V ignition.
