I have a 1971 240z.The original color is a butterscotch.I have been a zcar fan for over 20 years and never seen this color on a z, only 510s.Does anyone know if its rare?

He's talking about 920 gold, a 70 and early 71 color. You know, some people refer this to "Baby Poo gold" or "spoiled mustard", but if you buff this color out, It's DEEP and Beautifull.

That's the color I thought he was reffering to. I don't think that link I posted earlier was working but I fixed it. I don't think that clicking on the colors leads anywhere but at least you can see the color chart. And thanks again to Michael Purdue for that link.

I'm not sure of it's rarity, I've seen it before... when I took pictures of this car, most 240Z's I've seen/noticed in NZ are Red, then White then the rest of the colours are a lot less in number.

Couldn't tell you about anywhere else though.

Indeed it is, completely original with all it's stickers etc. still intact, the most mint un-restored S30 I've ever seen. Truely beautiful.

Nissan 920 Gold, great color. I do not know if it was rare originally but many people have changed from that color to a more contmporary color over the years so it could be getting rarer these days to see one.
