71Datsun240zMN Posted October 18, 2004 Share #1 Posted October 18, 2004 I just recently bought a 71' 240z shell and i started ripping everything out. The whole center console and floor panel was covered in (i think) some type of sound proof tar. It took me a while to take it off but i eventually got it off to grind off the rust underneath. When i paint my car, would the painter have this tar to reinstalll it or would i have to do it on my own? Also, anyone know where to get most of the interior panels?
