The Triangle Z Club and the Tar Heel Sports Car Club of NC will start their 2003 driver's ed/time trial season on the full course configuration at historic VIR. www.virclub.com
Cost for the event is $255 for BOTH days. If you are a dues-paying member of your local Z club, the cost is only $235
Requirments:
- All cars must have a safety inspection performed by a mechanic
- Convertibles must have an SCCA approved roll bar (this does NOT include T-tops or Targa-tops with bolt-in roofs )
- Helmets are required and must meet Snell M95 safety standard or better; if participating in the optional Time Trial, helmet must meet Snell SA95 standard
There will be three run groups based on experience level, each group limited to 40 cars (it's a 3+ mile track, so spacing won't be a problem). Each run group will get three 30-minute sessions
per day plus classroom instruction while not on track.
