Barn car find new project to start
Looks great, a real cool project. Where is Evans City? I grew up in the Lehigh Valley but since I joined the Navy 26 years ago I stayed in San Diego...Z paradise for sure. Don't be afraid to ask question but of course do the search thing first and then ask for clarification under that thread. Parts are plentiful.

240Z Parts must go!!
Give the local area guys your address so they can go dumpster diving on the 10th. How much you looking to get for a Heater vent control panel is very good condition?

Kudos to ST Suspension, KW manufacturing.
That is nice to hear, I really like companies that still believe in customer service and service after the sale. I got ST springs on my Zs and I like them.

Would that shop be in Lake Elsinore?- Any one have photos of 72 white and black interior
Classic Datsun offers door panel covers in all colors that do have the chrome strip with matching dog legs too. I saw a white one redone and it looked great. I am having a hard time getting off-white but all the other colors are available. I really like the quality of the stuff Les sells at Classic Datsun. I have had conversations with him on the off-white...I think I will be able to pull off getting it done someday.- Are 73 auto 240z worth it?
Mice poop also equals mice wizz which means a complete interior gutting. Who knows what other wires they have chewed. I also think mice poop equals a $4K reduction in the price of the car. I own a 73 automatic Blue with off-white interior, the car was unmolested when I bought it and I will never take out the Automatic, I want to keep it original. Keep you eye on Craigslist San Diego, Orange County, Oregon, Azrizona and New Mexico I am sure you will find a nice mice poopless Z there if you are serious. Sometimes members here on the board sell real nice cars too. Good luck in your search....Mice Poop yuck.- 1970 Z Refresh...biting the bullet
Did you get my PM about the my offer of a set of free brand new tie rod ends? The wife and I might do Crusin Grand Escondido tonight, I will let you know.- ebay seller
I have sold George some items and he inturn relist them for more money....power to him if someone is willing to pay. I tried to lead him by example by not trump up shipping costs to him. I think many of the Ebay NOS/OEM parts are available from your local dealer if you have the part number, MSA and Classic Datsun sell same stuff.- 1970 Z Refresh...biting the bullet
Real nice of you Rex to offer. We we see you at the next meeting? Rich, I really like what you are doing with the car, you son will always remember these days of working on the car with dad. I hope you can still do an event or two with our club as well.- 1970 Z Refresh...biting the bullet
Rich, Now that I see the parts off the car I can see why you are doing this....a great idea and plan. Regards, David- 1970 Z Refresh...biting the bullet
I am surprised that you are going for it. Good luck with the job.- Very wobbly at high speeds
after tires and wheels not in round...then I think it is the steering rack bushings. Replacing the old rubber set is not a hard job at all.- So... Whats your beer? ID's Checked at the door.
Your avatar is from Kirin Ichiban which happens to be one of my favorites as well.- So... Whats your beer? ID's Checked at the door.
Yuengling Lager works for me....or maybe a Black and Tan.- Gas Smell
I accept you at your word and apologize.- Gas Smell
and it's been covered again....what's the problem with that? Got nothing better to do than complain about a thread on public message board? I am not one to back down and run away and hide like others who do farewell messages. So many nice people on this board than you get one like this.- 73 Z-Car
I was thinking the same thing, If it is a BRE built motor; How much for it?- Gas Smell
Right on Mike, I think you might be right. It looks to be s simple fix and I should get on it real soon...I hate wasting gas. It also could be the red circle area because it did leak one time after a fill up when I parked it on an incline on my driveway. Both are accessable so I will check them both out. Thanks again for the input. - imsa gtu fenders etc.
