Draw through carb turbo setup
I have that same set up on a 71 I picked up from Les at Classic Datsun Racing. The last registered owner was Willie Buchanan of the Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers. Mine is in the que to be restored at my friend's shop. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Classic Zcar Club mobile

I would not attempt to do a concourse restoration myself; I have a professional paint and body man for that. He does outstanding work on S30s, as a matter of fact he has done work on some the nicest vintage Datsun and Nissan racecars out there. His work is posted on this website on another thread.

I know this for a fact; we picked up 2675 as a shell; it is ready for paint and we are in for over $20K paint, body, parts etc...we are another $10k away to have it show ready.

Deja Vu: 1971 Restoration
Cool, I got a wheel just for this reason, I was just making sure. I actually enjoy taking a wheel to the parts...it is therapeutic.

I will guess $15K, needs at least $14K in paint and body. We are in the middle of saving 2675; we are in for $14.5 paint and body, not to mention parts...etc.. I am watching it.

Deja Vu: 1971 Restoration
Do you have to do the clean up on them or do they take them as they were in the before picture? I have a bunch of stuff to get off to that shop.

1970 240Z on BaT
Oh, I thought he got it...I was watching that auction closely because besides a 71, I am also building a low VIN series one car, Yellow/Black, I wanted to see the market tempo.

1970 240Z on BaT
The final price that K-TeeZ got it for was short of amazing. It is a $20k plus car easily. I have a 71 blue on blue car that will be finished by JCCS that I plan to sell, I was hoping it would go for $20K plus now I am not sure.

Deja Vu: 1971 Restoration
Look at all those Zs in background of the picture...all three (all 71s) belong to 2 guys plus 2 more in the shop. Rich I hope you have a hand in the resurrection of that 71 GNose you see there; it's last registered owner was Willie Buchanon of NFL fame. I plan to restore it to the way Willie drove it.

Interested, restoring 2675, I think it would apply to that car.
