Opinions on those Clear Headlight Covers... for an Z
yea yea, give me a bit of flack before I can even post for myself thatd be right  No that's not my car, it's a silver 240Z with a G-Nose like you say, and very very nice. I can only wish it was mine... (it is actually a picture of Mr. K's 240Z I believe, I've just made it look silver as I dont particularily like yellow on Z's)

Opinions on those Clear Headlight Covers... for an Z
They're brilliant, but if you don't have them already on your car....... drilling holes in your car probably isn't exactly fun. I'm sure there would be a way to getaround it though... somehow...

Nissan Skyline GTR motor swap for sale
Bart, that's somewhat correct, but the actual Skyline marque started way before then! The first Skyline was a Prince Skyline in 1957, and it looked more like a miniature Chevy than anything else. I'm not sure if the KPGC10 Skyline had a full roll cage as standard though, but I couldn't say. I certainly didn't think it was imported to America though! Maybe someone in the know can confirm this???

Bluebird 5 Speed
Thanks Richard and Steve, but I think I'm just going to have out for a proper 240K box that I know will fit and have good ratios. I'll just get another diff if I need more acceleration.

colour ideas photoshopped
Gareth, as much I love silver on the Zeds, I would have to recommend to your friend gunmetal grey. I think the colour looks fabulous on just about any car, and on a Zed it will show up all the chrome beautifully.

What is the story on this

OT: BMW design question...
Sorry but I have to disagree with you BOTH! It's not one man's opinion, nor everyone on this board's opinion, it's the gospel truth!!!!

Dumb De Dumb Dumb
ROFL I've had the same thing happen Rick, except I wasited around for an hour until dad could come and look. He connected up the battery again and off we went. Good one... but I have the excuse that I didn't know any better - you're supposed to be old and wise Same thing happened with my 240K as proxalamus, I drove it home from the old lady's house grinning and then parked it - not 5 minutes later I got my brother to come out to have a look, and it wouldn't start. I was beginning to get really angry until dad (again) pushed the T-bar up a smidgen more to the proper "P" position. :stupid: What would I do without the old man, eh?

What would you do??
Buy another one. :classic:

Thanks Gavin, I didn't really understand how many gearboxes you have where and who owns them but I'll just stay quiet and wait for you to let me know! Gareth, you have a PM...

Loose Sunvisor
I would have tried to be more specific but I only have a vague memory of what it all looks like.

OT: BMW design question...
Here ya go, BMW M-Coupe and for good measure BMW Z4
-
Loose Sunvisor
If they're the stock items, there should be a screw in them on the outside corner where they are attached to the roof. Tighten this up and your visor will get stiffer.
- Looking for this car

Bluebird 5 Speed
Maybe I'm just looking in all the wrong places

OT: BMW design question...
I love it. Better than that whacko Z4 thing (imagine a "coupe" version of that - YUCK!!!)

I Thought All 240Z's had a Single Key
Yep, that's it. Interestingly my car also has two keys only the ignition one is much more modern-looking, with a plastic bit around the bit you hold (I'm sure it has a name). Looks great!

Bluebird 5 Speed
Oh I see! Great, I'll try to organise something with Gareth and let you know. And I'll be sure to leave you a token of my appreciation too.

Alan, Thank you for clearing that up. It always made me wonder...
