About My Cars
I got a 1983 280zx and it's my first project car and I'm learning a lot about cars through it. I don't get to work on it super often because I'm a college student and I unfortunately don't really know much of the story on it but it's an amalgamation of a couple different year cars and I didn't know this until I tried buying parts for it. It has the ECU from a '79 (I'm assuming to get rid of emissions things), I'm fairly confident the original '83 engine and the rear end of anywhere from '79-'81 haven't bothered to determine that yet (just know because of the rear disc brake pads). I've redone the wiring on it and am currently trying to get it back to a normal functioning state. It runs rough and I had to replace the flywheel because the screws on the front face of the starter fell off and went into the bell housing. It's a mess of a car but I've been having a fun time working on it!
