Hello Z Cars - Great News: MVP Track Time was able to secure a 2nd date on Autobahn's full 3.56 mile road course (none of this namby pamby 1/2 track stuff) August 20, 2007. Like our June 4th event, it will fill fast. We still have spots available at our July 23rd tack day at Putnam Park near Indianapolis as well. Hi All: The 3rd annual Lotus Ltd. (www.LotusCarClub.org) track day at AutoBahn Country Club road course (www.AutobahnCountryClub.net) in Joliet, IL is Monday, June 5, 2006. Hopefully the weather will be as beautiful as previous years and the driving even more fun. Our track day is open to all cars which pass tech inspection. Again, the date is Monday, June 5, 2006. WE WILL BE USING THE FULL 3.56 MILE, 21 TURN ROAD COURSE!!!! The price, $235 is the same as previous years for all participants. How about that for no inflation? The same rules apply including limiting the number of cars so we all get plenty of track time again. Like the previous years, we will have early tech inspections the evening before at a local hotel and at the track the day of the event. We will have instructors on hand as well. For those of you worried about hotel accommodations, we've blocked 15 rooms at the Fairfield Inn (815) 741-3499 and 10 rooms at the Hampton Inn (815) 725-2424 both in Joliet, IL. The rooms are being held under "Lotus Ltd." You are responsible for hotel reservation and payment. Both hotels are about 10 minutes from Autobahn Country Club. Upon receipt of your application and check, I'll forward a track day packet to you with all the pertinent information. Hi All and Happy Holidays: It's that time of year to treat yourself to the Christmas present your friends and family will fail to get you. The second annual St. Louis Area Lotus Lovers (STALLS) and Lotus Ltd. track day at Putnam Park Raceway (www.PutnamPark.com) in Mt. Meridian, IN. Hopefully the weather will be as beautiful as the 2003 event and the driving even more fun. We've changed the date from September to Monday, June 21st. For those of you wondering why? Let's just say there's this F1 race at Indy Sunday, June 20th some of us would like to see. After watching the F1 boys we can go emulate our favorite F1 driver(s) on the road course at Putnam Park. HMMM a weekend of speed! The price is the same as last year $225 for Lotus Ltd. members and $235 for non-members. How about that for no inflation. The same rules apply including limiting the event to 45 cars so we all get plenty of track time again. Like the 2003 event, we will have tech inspections the evening before at a local hotel. For those of you worried about hotel accommodations with the F1 race, I've blocked 15 double rooms at the Holiday Inn Express (765)795-5050 in Cloverdale IN. under Lotus Ltd. I'm in contact with the Days Inn (765) 795-6400 in Cloverdale, IN to do the same. Both hotels are about 10 miles from Putnam Park. I'm attaching an application for your perusal.
