I have never known this being a issue with Z cars fitted with the factory L series engines. I know some V8 conversion recommend strut braces and roll bars to help stiffen the body. I think that if you find any car with the body out of alignment it was probably in a collision of some sort. If you come across a desirable car that does show signs of this you can always take it to a frame alignment shop. These guys have specs of the frame of most cars and use a frame alignment machine to pull body back into shape. This use to cost this speed demon about $200.00 (1 MGB 1 TR7).

I recieve a free set of center line mags 7.5 front and 8 inch rear 3.5 backspace from a gentleman from Austin with a restored 400 hp Scarab Z non turbo. He upgraded his rims and gave me these. -

April of 1971 240z with a autolight downdraft 500 cfm 2bbl carb. NOS fixed 125hp nitrous kit with a custom plate on a clifford manifold, 6-2-1 headers and electronic ignition. I added a side stripe and libre rims with 185 60 14's. Not my choice for tires but they came with rims and were brand new. I will be putting on some 225 60 14's soon. I am also running a stock 4 speed and 3.36 gears. L28 engine. P79 head and f54 block from an 81 zx. I will be raising the compression ratio and changing my rear gearing to 3.54 and upgrade to a 5 speed transmission in the future. In the back is my 81 Datsun 4x4 King Cab to help tow my other racing 240z to drag strip. (will show at later date). -
