ay Zkid you in SA? yeah the floorpan has no holes! booth rails are complete very low K car, can you beleve it? 5spd, but has a rod through the block, I have to get it running and then start on the body , so an L28 is comin down next weekI will put up some more pics! cam -

hi guys, big fan of the zeds!!! After serching and veiwing a number of zeds I have found a good 2 seater 260z. Here is the delema with this one and every other zed (about 7 now) that I have looked at. the floorpan/underbody of these cars seem to corrode no matter how good contition of the cars themselves. This 2 seater has two holes in each of the rails underneth the car, along with other signs of infecton. Seeing as how the floorpan is fairly importatn to structural integrity, these holes in the rails are a big deal. so far welding, epoxy and patching are all I know of but usure of method and best application for the symptoms I am dealing with. how do you go about fixing the underbodys of these cars,especially the rails,etc.?? note that I dont have welding eqip at my disposal. any imput would be appreciated as I want to fully restore one of these cars and keep it for a while. thanks cam
