Good news,
I called Power Torque (Central ), and discussed the issue with this part # for the earlier Z cars. The guy on the phone (Dave) was suprised to hear about the difference in measurement from earlier and later models, and glad I called this to his attention. He went to the warehouse and grabbed two new kits and confirmed that they indeed did not include the carrier. We discussd how without the carrier, this kit is useless to owners of earlier models. He is making changes in the packaging to include the carrier, or at least make it avail. Innthe mean time, he is shiping me a new carrier overnight at no charge.
Can't say enough about how impressed I am with the customer service I recieved today.
They deffinatley earned any future buisness I can give them ;o)
