  1. What are the chances I can reuse the float bowl gasket?If they are slim like I think can I just buy the gaskets instead of buying a whole rebuild kit? I may end up buying the kit anyway,but it isn't in the budget yet,so I will wait. If the floats are cracked would I be getting fuel over flowing through the bowl vent though? What would you guy recommend doing with the float bowl vents? When I thought about using the stock SSS air filter I got with the carbs the float bowls had a tube coming off them to the base of the filter assembly,but now I am using custom made individual filter,and I am not sure what to do with the bowl vents. I know I have spoken with you on the phone Bruce. I bought some carb base gaskets,air filter gaskets,and the DVD through you.
  2. Hey guys, I am new here,and this is my first post. I live in Massachusetts,and own a 78 Datsun 510 that I upgraded to 38mm round top SU carbs. The car is now running,but one carb is running richer than the other one,and I have turned in the large nut on the bottom of that one very much,and the plugs on those two cylinders are still sooty,and darker than the rear two which seem pretty good. I have the Z-therapy video,but I am still lost. Anyone in the New England are willing to come help me out? I know this isn't a Z-car,but it has to be pretty much the same. Thanks in advance. Chris
