Have this on my Fairlady Z-L
  24. All Nissan parts too. Did the early Zed's up North come with the rubber parts on the front leading edge of the rear bumper? I know mine didn't when I bought my new Z in 72. I did see them when I took leave in Japan at the Nissan Headquarters in Tokyo, late 71. I was told since the parking spots were tight in Japan and cars were smaller, they put the rubber guards on the fender edges to keep the ladies from snagging their dresses as they walked to the rear. Did the Zed's down under, England, Europe, have them. My 10/69 Fairlady Z-L has them.
  25. Also it's a good idea not to grab the choke handle by the knob when pulling it in the choke position, if it's tight. I've broken off a couple in my time, including the posts where it's fastened too, all due to a tight cable. Now after freeing up the cable I usually pull it back by grabbing the handle underneath close to where the setscrew is.
