Exterior/interior colors

ok I am new and have lots of questions. I have reading Mr Carl Becks page on exterior/interior colors and seem to have a bit of a situation. I own a dark green 907 1970 240 s/n 06882. If I am reading his page correctly, the interior should be tan. Since my interior color is black, is it poosible the factory produced this combination?

Hi Twigz,

we are basically in the same boat here.

My 73 240Z is leaf green and the interior is black but the info on zhome.com states it should be tan.

One reason could be is because the interior colours varied on home and export models, it could be that to meet the demand extra cars had to be imported by Nissan to meet the surge and that these cars were not specifically intended for the export market.

They kept the home market interior and just had the engine and lighting changed to meet the export countries legislation.

Plausible?? I can't think why else.
