Who's got a 1980ishZX with vacuum lines all intact?

Featured Replies

I've got ONE dangling vacuum line and I need someone to tell me where it goes on THEIR Zed.

I've got the Nissan Factory Manual, done Internet research, found this:

No help.

There is the "pipe gallery" of 4 METAL vacuum lines, runs vertically. I can't figure out where the one CLOSEST to the firewall is supposed to connect AT THE BOTTOM. Everything else APPEARS to be hooked up correctly.

Thanks!

Funny you should mention that... My wife and I just took a "survey" of an '81 and an '82 to piece together my '83's vacuum system. Is this an '80? your coil seems to be different than what I'm used to seeing.

If you can trace the metal vacuum line to the other side and see what it connects to (and take a photo) I can probably help you.

Also, are you experiencing any problems that might be symptomatic of a vacuum leak? If so, what are they? That may give some clues.
