I have a 73 240 with webers that have been on my car for at least 20 yrs. It has been sitting for about 3 yrs with occasional starting. I have not been able to get the motor able to go on the road due to the carbs dribbling fuel while running and cant get it to idle without the the choke on. I have had the carbs rebuilt but not by a specialty shop and they still do not operate correctly. I have taken the tops off myself to check the float level and still not able to get them to run well. I am thinking of buying two new carbs but i would rather spend the money on other parts for the car when I have two possibly good carbs allready. Felling very frustrated, Any feedback would be appreciated.
