can i use theses to replace my original sealed beams? wiring has not been upgraded... thanks for any help.. 78 280z

Aren't Wagner halogen headlamps just regular over the counter type replacements? I used Sylvania SiverStar headlamps in my 78, without an upgrade, for years with no problems. Most of the talk you hear and read about upgrading the wiring is aimed toward 240Zs. The wiring in a 78, though not earthshattering, was better than a 240Z stock vs. stock.

thanks blake..they are just on a shelf at oreilly's..10.99 each i think..just did not know if halogen would draw to much amperage..
