For those who have reinstalled their HVAC systems, what have you used to replace the factory sealant used under the dash where the fresh air comes in? It is the "light brown" stuff in the attached picture.

I've used plumbers putty and closed cell weatherstripping. They both work well but the latter is easier to deal with when you want to remove it again.
