ok....

here goes,

i had a 280Z 2+2 back in the day,

and have always wanted another one (after i totaled it)

and so i am about to get a Z,,,,240 260 280, haven't decided yet.

after i get it i will want to paint it the color of my old one,

which is this weird 70's metallic green color.

i have never seen another one this color but after much looking

online i found one that you can see at http://ecahost.com/280z/zpics.html

it's about ten pictures down next to a bronze one.

so is there some way get that exact same color or would i just

have to find one that has it already....

any input appreciated.

The pictures didn't load for me but I have an Idea! Put your best suit on and go for a tour around some car dealers. Your bound to find the colour your looking for in one of those booklets you get! Especially in the U.S

Then just goto a spray-painters and tell him the paint code!

Simple(hopefully!)

so are there specific paint codes for the Z's in the 70's?

and if so how could i get my hands on those?

Hey datto_240Z, your animated avitar sure slows up the page load for those of us who don't have broadband. Can't get it here where I live. Not just you, also any one with large pictures in their posts.:mad:

Well I dont have broad band either and the page loads ok. Probly because I have the animation:stupid: ! I've found that the tool bar at the top takes longer to load, but I'll change my avitar just for the people who's internet slows up because of it!:sleepy: I'll see if anyone else agrees with you!

OR... what you can do is turn peoples avitars off... I think!

I'm sorry, Chris. I should have been clearer about why I said that. It's not so much a comment on you avitar or anyone's large pictures. It was actually a comment on the poor phone lines and resulting slow connection speeds I have to deal with here where I live. I'm not trying to make anyone change anything because of my misfortune. When we move this summer, the first thing I'll be getting is some kind of broadband. I've had to live without it for four years now!
