The 2009 Midwest Z Fest will be hosted by the Z Car Club of Colorado. We have four days of Z events planned including -
Track Event at the all new High Plains Raceway
Shine and Show
Mountain Drives
Awards Banquet
We are planning the variety of events to offer something for everyone.
¤ There are two mountain drives that take you up into the beautiful Rocky Mountains, highlighting the handling of your Z.
¤ For the track enthusiasts, we will have a track day at the brand new High Plains Raceway. Typically, there are four classes from novice to expert. These are not races but a chance to drive in a high performance manner- you and your car against the track. The HPR track has been a project for all the motorsports clubs in the Denver metro area for several years and in the fall of 2008, the paving was completed. While there is still work to be done to finish the facility, it's already clear that the track itself is one of the most challenging in North America with nearly 70 feet of elevation changes.
We will be updating this information as the planning progresses. In the mean time, set aside these dates and plan to visit us in Colorado.
