I have a 1979 280ZX 2x2 that was owned by a man in San Diego who, I am told, was a compulsive ganbler and drove to Los Vegas weekly.  As a result there is little rust to deal with but the paint, silver, is sand blasted nearly to the primer.  I have been watching HaZmatt's rusteration project and it has been insirational.  I enjoy working on cars and have tractors and feild equipment to keep running but it does not give the same satisfaction.  I restored a 1956 Austin Healy 100-4 back in the seventies.  The english car people looked down on the Japanese car, well just about any non english car realy.  I have come full circle now and look forward to the new experance.  This form is a geate source of assistance and I hope to contribuit myself as I become more experanced.
