  1. View Advert L24 Engine & Transmission Description Someone please make me an offer. I need to clear my garage space !!! I have a spare L24 engine & transmission that I would like to sell. My restro. https://www.classiczcars.com/profile/10812-crshowers/ is complete and spare parts no longer needed. What is missing? Just the thermostat inlet housing & the starter, alternator. All other parts are intact. This has flat top carbs that you most likely want to replace. The engine has not been run in the past 10 years. It has a performance cam installed. I do not have any details, as the prior owner has passed away. I would like to see someone from the Northeast be the new owner to minimize delivery costs. I dropped the price to $750 I think that is a fair price for both. Someone got to have a good home for this. contact me for delivery options Advertiser crshowers Date 03/16/2021 Price $750.00 Category Parts for Sale

  4. 1974 Datsun 260Z View Advert I'm selling my 1974 Datsun 260Z with a 350 Chevy Small Block swap for $11,000 OBO. The engine has an edlebrock carberator and is mated to a turbo 400 transmission. The car gets lots of attention and is fun to drive. There's no rusting of the body or frame (I have pictures if needed). I recently replaced the belt, oil, coolant, thermostat, vacuum advance, wiper motor, and fuel sending unit. I also have an electric fuel pump and full aftermarket sanden air conditioning kit ready to be put into the car. I have some extra parts, literarure, and paperwork for the car that I will give to the next owner. Still have the original sticker for the car. The car also still has its spare tire kit, owners manual, bumpers, and spare. Overall, the car is in very good condition. For other aftermarket parts, it has stiffer coil springs, a smaller steering wheel, a new radio, and new speakers. 5. I have a couple of cars that unfortunately need new homes. I recently got blindsided with a divorce that I never thought would happen. That put me in a virtually homeless situation- all my belongings in storage and me staying with friends and living out of suitcases. I am now trying to buy a home and am forced to part with some things. I have a 1987 Nissan 300zx 2+2 automatic, non turbo with less than 130,000 miles. The head liner & interior are brand new, new starter, new steering rack and power steering pressure line, T-tops are good and I even have an extra set of seals for down the road if these begin to leak. Exterior wise it is a work in progress. Some rust spots and dings have been fixed and it is currently flat (primer) black with gloss black factory wheels. I have a second set of factory wheels that have not been painted. I drove this car every sunny day off I had last year-its a good car, needs a little work but it runs good and drives well. Also I have a 1985 Nissan 300zx 2+2 for parts or to be restored. It will start and run, but needs a lot. I have no title but I have enough information on its history/previous owners for someone to easily get one-especially with the cars age. I know that parting this car out would bring more money than selling it because the parts for these cars are so hard to find. Unfortunately, I have even less time than I do money so here we are. Suggestions how/where to make this happen as quickly as possible?
  6. Hi folks. I consigned my car again to a Houston auction house. The opening bid is $15,000 with no reserve. Here is the link: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/78726134_1972-datsun-nissan-240z
  7. Here’s the link to the auction, which will be on Saturday, July 27 at 12pm. My car will likely be closer to 2pm. My car is Lot 155a. I’m going to set a low reserve. https://lmauctionco.hibid.com/catalog/174945/lewis-and-maese-july-27th--2019-saturday-mancave-auction/ You can bid on LiveAuctioneers.com, as well.
  8. View Advert 1978 280z for sale 1978 280z, 5 speed transmission Smog certified on April 13th. Has never failed Runs great but needs a number of repairs and general attention. Odometer reads 45K and that’s probably just what it is. Bought in 1999 from original owner with around 20K miles on it. I barely drive it nowadays and it isn’t fair to the car. Renovations include but not limited to: new paint (BMW taupe metal-fleck), new upholstery (in original burnt orange), carpeting, radio and speakers, new wheels and dash cap. Wooden steering wheel and stick shift nob from my old 1976 240z. This car is a joy to drive. On the road people wave, high-five and yell compliments at stop lights— it makes my day. Best conversation starter, ever—but you probably know all about that... - Engine runs well and have only done the necessary or advised to it as well as regular maintenance. - Apron missing (under front bumper). - Rust spots under hatch, in one wheel well, on two rails (not structural—apologies for ignorance of terminology!), other incidental spots—see photos - Window tinting needs removal and/or replacement - RPM gauge seems stuck. No, I lie, it has repaired itself—as it does - Driver’s side door doesn’t completely latch sometimes (when warmed up). I lock the door when driving but it’s gotta be fixed of course. - Removed several badges when had car stripped and painted but have them. - Tool kit is all there, never been used. Regulation issue Datsun spare tire inflator canister! And original spare tire which has a rusty rim and has transferred rust stains to well. I do not believe the spare wheel well is itself rusting. Have included all the undercarriage rust photos I have but no room left for the rust-less majority. This car is in remarkable shape. And now I’ve organized the renovation receipts I can tell you that They cost about $15K. Maintenance and small repairs takes it beyond $20K... Hence her devastating allure~ Let me know if you’d like further photos or information. Thank you Advertiser A Delory Date 04/15/2019 Price $8,000.00 Category Cars for Sale Year 1978 Model 280 Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) HLS30445754

  18. 1976 Datsun 280z. Red. My mom is the original owner of this car and I've had it for about 10 years. It's been a daily driver in my family since it was bought off of the floor 1976-- very fun drive! The parts are in great condition & original. Even the air conditioning works! No rust! The sound system is shot, the bumpers & upholstery are not in great condition, and there's a small dent in passenger door (pictured). The body's in good condition-- paint could probably use a few touch-ups. Asking for $8500 (obo). Los Angeles pickup. Let me know if you're interested!Pictures: https://flic.kr/s/aHskTqTUU7

  21. I have a 1980 280 ZX "found" in my uncle's carport for sale. I went with him to the local Datsun dealership to pick it up when he bought it. It has 34,000 miles, is almost rust free (the only rust is around the rear deck washer nozzle). The silver paint is about a 7, the interior is about a 7. There is some fading of the interior panels, because the carport was not enclosed. I started working on the car, but got sidetracked by other life events. I had the wheels powder coated, installed new tires, belts, hoses, fuel pump and filters. The car runs good, but because of the time that it was sitting in the garage, there is some sludge in the tank that fouls the pick up screen. The AC compressor is locked up. It is time for me to sell the car. Please contact me if interested. I am asking $5,000. bobhuff3@yahoo.com Thank you, Bob
  22. http://fredericksburg.craigslist.org/cto/3353478218.html Pcv valve clogged up and over-pressure forced oil to find path of least resistance through gaskets. Can't afford rebuild right now and don't want car to sit and rot. This car is in damn fine shape for the next person to keep it good. Manual trans, original engine, interior almost perfect (small wear in seat where my duty weapon sits) If interested email from CL add and mention this post. I will give you my phone number to talk.... Unless i can find an engine rebuilder willing to work for charity I gotta sell her.
  23. I have made only one set of 240Z LED tail lights for the sole purpose of selling on this site only. If you have seen my "posi burn out" video and noticed them there or even seen my gallery, you'll know what I'm talking about. Here's what the lucky winner will get... One set of 240Z tail lights (Left & Right) They have been torn apart, cleaned, polished, refitted with Super Brite L.E.D.'s (14,000 mcd) and wired to run the same as most tail lights are (parking lights on upper half and brake lights are both upper and lower sections. I polished the plastic as best as I could. I removed the inner reflective plates and reworked one of them for each of the Reverse lights. they're much brighter now. The parking lights consist of 12 red LED's The brake lights are all 50 LED's The upper plate has 32 and the lower plate has 18 led's I polished the chrome and repainted the inner black of the center trim pieces. I also inserted new felt into the lower drain holes. There is one screw in the middle of the center trim but it's barely noticable. This was neccesary because it's nearly impossible to seperate the two halves withouth snapping the center holding pin. The small screw is much stronger than the original plactic piece anyways. I have put a lot of thought and hard work into these, not only because it's what I do, but because I know that a few of you had stated your interest in a set. I did a better job on this set than the ones that I put into my own car. I am asking for $225 and a decent set of tail lights in return (a kinda core charge-so I can build another set in the near future.) Keep in mind that these are (100,000 hour LED's) This means that they can stay on for over 11 years straight (24/7) 365 days a year for 11.41? years. That means that they'll probably outlast the car. For a better idea of how they look, check out My gallery Or check out the posi-burn out video, even in the daylight, they are brite enough to easily be seen through the smoke. Or the video I made just for this thread LED taillight video on "putfile.com" it takes a little while to load up but at least you'll see what I mean. E-mail me and I'll get back to the first person who can get the Money order and spare lights into the mail first. I WILL make more at a later date but I'd like to see how this sale goes first. And remember that the lights you send me will most likely be rebuilt for the next set I make, so make sure they are at least rebuildable for the next guy. Thanks for reading, Dave.
