JDM Datsun Kakimoto N42 Head for sale on eBay
Looks nice I am surprised that my friend passed on it. I got to give him a call and let him know that you now listed it on Ebay. He is currently in Tokyo/Zama City gathering parts.

Toyota 2000GT on UK EBay
Exact same thing I was thinking. Looking at the MB coupe up under other auction items makes me think more and more that this car is in fact from that barn find.

240Z Header Recommendation
Sal was at our Z club meeting last Tuesday night; he announced that; yes, MSA will sell Stahl headers but they will not be cheap. I think the price was up around $900. He also mentioned that the MSA header has been improved.

Brake help
You can get them at any local Pick Your Part. I would get them from the PYP, then get them powder coated. Should not be that hard to obtain.

Gold code 918 70 240z automatic on ebay
Hell for $8K I would sell my 73 AT 105K mile car with crack free dash car with matching #s, which is very similar in condition to this Seris I car. Instead of mine being a low # car it is a high # car 7/73 production. Got to shine her up and get in the classified section of this board. I do not think I will use Ebay in the selling of the car.

Low mileage 72 on eBay
You would think they could put a little AP in the tires and clean it up a little more.

Removing Smog components
Just remove it.... There will be a few places that you will have to close up with a nut. Also on the smog rail you will have to use a plumbing fixture to close it off, on mine it looks like the thing you use when closing off a water pipe. It is easy for the average "do-it-yourselfer".

video clip of me getting busy with my Z..
Really great video...look forward to seeing some more. I have always had great times in Bahrain, but never got to take a ride like that, the cab drivers are fast but not as fast as you.

A little morale support please.....
I found one just like it in a "pick your part" here in San Diego over 10 years ago. The car had under 38K on it. It turns out some rich guy owned, garaged it, died and the family junked the car. Pulling it out caused one crack which I had fixed....can't tell it was ever there. The day I got it was a 1/2 price day so I paid like $20.00 for it. I had to remove all the the gauges or they would charge me for them as well. Well the dash is im the rafters of my garage and the car is under a cover in the driveway. I was thinking of selling....but now that I see how much you paid, I realize it worth keeping for that day that I might resurrect my faded out baby. I think you did the right thing and did not over pay by much. Let's face it; there are not that many great deals on ebay, there are great products just a little over priced.

Well it has come to this: My 240z on ebay...
Shipping from PA to Cali is about $900.00. I paid that much to ship one last year. From Springtown PA to San Diego CA it was $900.00.

HEAP 'O Tha Week
I believe the car was a "Yugo" not Hugo. That 70 Z has some real character.

240Z Header Recommendation
Yup auto with a broken stud in the exhaust manifold. The header actually cost me a used Coor's Neon light. My friend who game me the header will be the one that will help me install it. This one might be worth tweaking to make it work.

240Z Header Recommendation
I understand......my friend gave me a really killer JDM header....but I guess I may not be able to use it. Not all headers are designed the same so maybe it may work.

240Z Header Recommendation
I was looking at MSA's header that was listed on ebay(a new marking idea that MSA has), anyway...it said that the header is "not for automatics" can anyone tell me why? I am just curious.

Your first Z car...
My first Z was a 1979 ZX Brown and Gold. Got for $300 in 1992 while I was stationed on the lovely island of Guam USA. It was hit on the passenger side door, you could not even open the door it was hit so hard. I got a rusty door from the junkyard and welded it together with the lower of of the dented door to make a complete door. We filled the dents with bondo and other things, sanded it out...painted it blue then sold it for $2000.00. The thing that stuck with me about that car was how great it ran...it gave me the Z bug since then I have never NOT been a Z owner. When I got back to the states in 94 I purchased my 78 which had 178K miles on the odo, it is now up to 380K on the original engine. I will never forget my first Z, she was ugly but fun to drive.
