Too many unknowns to give you any idea. Go see it, if you can find a member who is local to you and take him/her along. If you don't have a local member, take your camera with you, dress to crawl around in the dirt, and take and post lots of pictures. We keed to see the conditions of the exterior of the car, console, dash, frame rails, floors, the hatch, its shelf, the dog legs, id plates and the vin# (ds door jam, pass side eng. compartment, near the brake master cyl.) Some of these pictures will tell more if taken from the bottom of the car up. WIll PS, I saw one six months ago that looked good from 40 feet, but was a real mess under the paint, bondo, and mismatched parts...
  2. Has any member bought a pair of the reproduction lenses from Mr. Thacker? I still would like to know the differences between "as close as Nissan would let us come" and OEM! If you have a set, please take and post some detailed pictures...as it appears Mr. Thacker is not as pround of his reproductions as A $90K investment in perfect molds would make me. Thanks, Will

You have gotten some good advice here already, if you do involve law enforcement, I would absolutely have them make an incident report and post it here. An incident report is not hearsay, and is public record, so ther are no issues with posting it to make other Z owners aware of the type of buisiness this individual conducts. Will
  4. OOPS, I forgot to put the Dishwasher and spare bedroom as options... Will PS, post pictures...

Welcome to the club, and get ready for more attention with your S30 than your 350! Here in the South, if you roll through a couple of stoplights you are likely to get flagged down and told about the biggest mistake a former S30 ever made(selling his Z!) ENJOY THE RIDE! WIll
  6. How and where do you store your Zparts? Post pictures if you can! I will be posting some tomorrow when I can get to the camera, and the parts at the same time. Choose all that apply! Will
  7. The caps keep the brake fluid clean by not allowing dirt and moisture from the air to get in the system, and keep the brake fluid off the paint in enthusiastic driving! The caps are actually effectively one way vented to keep a vacuum from forming as the pads wear and the fluid level drops in the MC. In the very short term, the presence or abscence of caps has no effect on the brake system, but I would keep the system capped, and bleed it if it went un capped for any length of time(depending on humidity and brake fluid used) Will

Welcome to a labor of love for Mike(the site owner) and a massive gift to the rest of us. Don't forget to visit the club merchandise page. The Microfiche CD is a great and inexpensive reference for what is, should be, and hopefully will be, in your car. It enables you to give the dealer actual Nissan part numbers when you need something instead of relying on someone who may find it easier to say "that is NLA" than to spend a few minutes and really look it up! The club hats and Tshirts are great too! Welcome, and don't forget to give your location, nearby members usually work for beer(for at least one member, it must be imported), spare parts, pizza, or even just for fun! ENjoy the club, use the search engine to find answers with out having to wait for replies, and be sur eto post plenty of pictures of your car! Will

My 240Z ran exactly that way for the last 6 years it was on the road, but Savannah does not have that much really cold weather. Will

I believe that was for the side to side Parking lights in other parts of the world. WIll
  11. Please and pinch me too! Will

Shipping from the states might be a bit much, but you could have just the rotating assy and head shipped, and use a block that is already there. Will
  13. I know how much I spent making a set similar to these, and in terms of time alone, these are a bargan. Will
  14. No arguments, just Opinions. You make your car beautiful to you. In your car, your opinion is the only one that matters. Will

    Welcome, Welcome. Welcome!!! Will
  16. The only thing I can say about that air dam is that it fits! It doesn't look right, it does not cary any styling from the rest of the car except color and allignment at the point of connection. It is beter than a missing lower valence panel, but worse than factory pieces-not what I want from my car, but not as bad as some of the body modifications that have been on cars listed on ebay... Looks like it came off a ricer, and gets home sick every time it passes one(It is now on a Z after all... ) Will
  17. Chris, I was hoping you would tag this thread, Thanks! Will

A portable hole would help, but Buggs doesn't let just anyone borrow it! Will
  19. Ed, I am in the same boat(er-trailer), I agree with what everyone has said, and I will buy a 24' or larger-it will also get used as a portable building-with the wheels off the ground. Will
  20. I will be doing it myself-to keep qualtiy up and prices down. Will I paid a company to work out the JDM headlight covers and they now have the money and the molds-never again!
  21. I don't think the mass removed is the problem, I think it maybe the loss of leverage. "Give me a proper pivot and a long enough lever and I'll move the word", shorten the lever and I'll just try! Will

  23. Carl, Thanks for the picture of a third variation, looks like the one on the bottom is all one piece. Zup, I collected these to deal with just that situation, by making a mold for reproduction. I too am looking for a parking light switch, but I do have the filler plate for the switch-I'll see if I have a spare for you. Enrique, Didn't you replace the red switch in the picture with the switch you got from Kats? If not, I would like to borrow it....Or have a set of detailed pictures/measurements. WIll

I just got back from running up there, looks like I was exactly backwards, the DS is in great shape, and the PS in in useable shape, but will need a couple of patches. I poked with an icepick and only found the one perforation pictured(close to a plug hole), but I suspect that there may be another one under the deadener material. Pictures are too large-I will edit them down and post them tonight. I didn't have time to grab some tools and knock the stuff back to expose the floor, I was helping someone else move a car close by, and he was driving...unedxpected visit that just sort of worked out. Will
  25. Victor, you forgot that your codriver must bring cold imported beer, and lots of it(for back relief when you are parked...) Will
