One of the projects I have been working on-with help from 280 Master-for the club(granted, it has been on the back seat for a while), is a pdf of all of the S30 manuals. I am trying to buy reasonably clean, but not pristine copies because of that very issue-I don't want to cut up an excellent specimen to make the PDFs. Mike has a blanket copywrite exemtion from Nissan for the Early Z manuals, and ultimately, the PDFs will all go into a new club CD/er DVD. I currently have suitable copies of the following: 240Z Undated FSM Single volume Chassis and Body (Gold cover) 1973 FSM 1978 FSM Introduction of Datsun 260Z Model S30 Series Technical Bulletins covering 1969-1984 (made up of 8 volumes) S30 Parts Manuals USA CAnada 1969-1974 Nissan Fast 1969-1984 (S30 and S130 to be used) 280ZX Automatic Aircondirioner supplement I have a few others that I have loaned out, but until I get them back, I don't want to assume they will be back in time to be used for this project. If any of you have copies of the missing manuals-or any pertinant Nissan goodies to donate, to the cause, I am sure that a suitable thank you could be found and sent. Will

NOS FSM are on ebay constantly for $80 with shipping, but I don't see them sell often. In waiting and watching I have bought several excellent shape FSMs for between $25 and $65 with shipping, the suplement manuals are hard to predict, I have bought them for between $6 and $55 with shipping. Will

Patrick, I have been threatened with everything from bodily harm, ("I'll beat you like a stuck spindle pin", "polish your insides with a reverse flow of your own natural media(Do a search fo natural blast media-it is too painful to revisit!), and being "forceably derusted in a vat of something ugly") to never hearing the end of it if this car isn't ready for a healthy score at Daytona-and that is just from the Members here! Hi all you Znuts, I am brand new! I have never seen a Z-yes I have, yesterday when Daddy brought me home from the hospital-but dang it, he drove me home in a Dodge trYUCK! After we for home he took me out in the garage and let me grunt around in the newly bed linered floors of hi-er my Z! He told me about entering this car in the show at Daytona, and I told him that if he didn't get it done a month before the show I would make diapers he couldn't believe. He laughed and told me SBlake had introduced him to a can that took care of diapers-I guess I am new to all of this, but... I tried to get my brother Thomas to sit in the picture with me, but he wouldn't wear the Tan Z hat(something about washing out his complexion) and kept trying to take my Black hat-That silly Thomas hasn't figured out yet that he got the brawn, and I got the brains(Mommy and Daddy feed, carry me around and change me-bro only gets changed-sucker! Any way, When Daddy can get into the gallery he will post a better pic for the front page, but until then, I will keep reminding him with soiled diapers to keep trying and get to work on the Z! McKrack, Any molding was after market. Most dealers around here installed the rivet on aluminum channel that accepted an insert. the inserts wereavailable in a healthy number of colors that closely matched most body colors, but also had black when there was not a close match for body color. My 280Z 2+2 came in DN 305(sky blue metalic) and the appropriate mounlding and inserts. The first time I went through the car, I repaired the moulding holes and left the moulding off. Within a month something was amis, I put the mouldings back on, and the car was right again. That was a 2+2, and the mouldings helped it, I don't plan to put them on my 240Z because the body line they apply to is one of the styling elements that I really like to see "right"(and I don't want holes in my bodywork), but I may make a set magnetic and play with the idea some...
