In-Car Time Lapse Photography Options
I am not sure that that mount has enough flex to accomodate the front winshield of an S30, it is made specificly(as are all of the intersting parts on that site) for the much lower curvature of a Z32 windshield-as the maker instructs-I would call and verify before ordering. WIll

In-Car Time Lapse Photography Options
A magnet strong enough to hold a camera solid would might be strong enough to mess with the focusing. Make a mount to fit on your tag mounts on the bumper. Sacrifice a second cowl grill and make it a mount. make the mount magnetic-that is to hold the camera mount to the sheetmetal of the car. Get a tripod at a second hand store, and use the swivel and shoe mounting. Add a remote controlled tilt/pan kit and really get the shots! WIll

Parts
You can also list parts you are after in our classifieds...I have and it does give results! Mike gave us a feedback ability as well for these transactions. Will If the console is for a '72, it is NLA, and would have to be sourced from either a vendor-unlikely, or a private parts(ebay or a frien of a friend, and would either be an excellent used part for $50 to $150(depending on the deal you luck into, or a NOS part at around $300-400 if you can find one. A front bumper bar (assuming you are not talking about the bumper itself) is an after market add on and come up on ebay frequently for $25-125 depending on condition and how many people are after one at the moment you bid

280zx hood?
No, a ZX hood will not fit a Z without considerable fabrication and metal work. Hoods are still available through your local dealer-and I believe there is at least one currently on ebay. Will

Cold storage
Ed-great question! The only criteria I have ever considered were Humidity, UV exposure, and heat-as far as promoting rust, mildew, and film deterioration(paint and/or plastic). I can't think of any issues coming from a humidity controlled freezer as long as the seasonal fluid change was done, but then we ususally only have 10-15 days at or below freezing in our winter. Will

I Need help evaluating my 240z
The more pictures the better! Checking out an early vin car for a serious restoration is more involved to those who want her for modification and daily use-though some people will buy an early vin example as long a the rust has managed to hold the data plates on...(and rightfully so Chris!) To get the most, put her back as clost to original as possible, but anyone doing a serious restoration will be replacing anything with any wear anyway, so I would concentrate your efforts on a thorough blurb supported by as many pictures as possable. Get the car on ramps or a rack and photgraph every square inch of her underside, and arrange to be able to meet prospective buyers for a serious looksee for a good portion of the auction, and you should attract bidders who know buying a great starting point is less expensive than putting one together-those who can and will pay for the right car.
