Notice 'Matt Big Hat" in the picture. The Toyopet isn't his car. The owner of the car is the man on the other side of the car in the white T shirt. He must have started the car with that crank at least 50-60 times!
-
Would have been even cooler if it was the real Mr. K. I actually did meet him at the Doheny Datsun Show in 1998.
-
Bill, somehow I just expected to see you in this gallery!
-
I'm not a dirty old man. But an attractive girl tastefully posing on a Z are both art which is something I appreciate.
-
How does a 16 year old know of Betty Page? From the movie? I know I'm old (58) but Betty Page was born in 1923! I'd use your photo as a desktop background but my wife would kill me!:hurt:
-
I can appreciate the effort you put into it but I'm just not feeling the look.
-
Actually, it looks like he has two garages. I'd like to do that tpe of setup if I had the land.

77-80 810 Factory Alloys (in the U.S.-used on other Datsuns in other markets like Australia). If you need a set of caps for them, I've got them.
-
Bill, that car has a set of 810 factory alloys on it. Kind of hard to find here in the states but from what I've learned over the years, pretty common in Australia since they were used on other Datsuns over there.

You need to make your pics bigger. At least 640x480. The ones you have here are avitar size.
-
Fuel injected! I know I'm answering your question 2 1/2 years after you asked it but I thought so then and I still do!
-
Didn't notice the question before but if I need to score points with my wife after 10 years I must be doing something wrong!
-
I thought you said that a broken tail light and a dent in the rear was the only damage.
-
That makes for a good desktop photo.
-
I have a Nissan poster that indicates the model year of 1933' date=' but who's counting?[/quote']The owner said it was a 1936.
-
I'm sure they will be some pictures on Katy's nest when Terry and Koji update their site. They still haven't added the Toyofest pictures yet either.
-
The emblems said Datsun but I'm sure they weren't sold here. It's RHD. All the tags, instructions, etc. on it were in Japanese. Terry and Koji were both there and took lots of pics and spent some time talking to him.
-
Actually a Datsun Model 15 Phaeton, IIRC. I've seen them in publications and on the internet but this is the first time I've ever seen one is person. It runs and is virtually complete and owned by a older gentleman that lives in SoCal.

The computer is to the right of the toolbox and it has a TV card in it.
-
Thank you for that, age! I think those tubes are too short. Take a look at mine in my gallery.
-
They look more like fender covers.
-
Well I like it as much as I can like a front wheel drive vehicle. The retro 49 Chevy Suburban styling is kinda cool, look at some other pictures of them. The PT Cruiser comparison is ineveitable even though, to me, there is no comarison. And, the price was right. Besides, it's my wife's car. Nothing but Datsuns for me!
-
With and SR conversion, however.

Ah, Mr. Vircelli's FJ20 powered roadster. Used to have Toyota Mikunis on it but with the S.U.'s he says it gets over 30 mpg (!) and runs better. He must have done some serious driving that weekend! I saw him at Solvang on Saturday. He's quite a craftsman and the car is a mechinacal masterpiece!

Your car appears to be a ZZZap without the S.A.P.
