You know Victor, that avatar is really amazing mate. I would have thought that the room behind you would have also been reflected in the mirror when the photo was taken. Yes, mate, truly amazing !!!! Rick. :devious: :devious:

Cheap 240Z
Yair Bill, It would be COOL to have the only one around. That is, of course, until you had to source parts for it. You'd probably have to get them shipped over from Australia. :stupid: :stupid: Rick. :devious: :devious: :devious:

What do you do for a living?
Well, now, Lachlan old mate, I clicked on "Retired" and wasn't allowed to go back and click "Military" as well (although that was quite some time ago). As for what I do now, well, it all depends on how big a list of jobs my "She Who Must Be Obeyed" has given me however, as I live about two hundred yards away from a good fishing spot, it doesn't take too much imagination to guess what I do in my spare time. I'm surprised that you haven't had more replies. Rick.

Charley's Comming
Yair, glad to see you and yours are O.K. mate. Have there been any problems with low life looters ?????? We had them in Rockhampton during the '91 floods. Rick.

Dadson
WRONG !!!! Sean, The older they get, the more trouble they get into, but they make for good memories. Don't forget to take lots of video footage so you can embarras hell out of him when he reaches his majority. Rick. :devious: :devious: :devious:

No word from him yet. I've PM'd him. Let's hope he's in a position to answer. Hope everyone in that neck of the woods are O.K. I don't give a bloody hoot about the cars, it's the people that really matter. Rick.

Hmmmm, cronologicly speaking I'm 60 going on 25. Over that period of time I've made HEAPS of mistakes. I'm actually looking forward to the next one, 'cause I'll learn something new. LIFE is one loooong learning curve. Hey there Billy Boy, Here's another one for you. Protect your car's battery for only a penny. Just tape a copper penny to the top of your battery. Corrosion will be drawn to the penny and leave your electrodes clean. Rick.

Rockhampton Car Show 2004
Well now Lachlan, I've always believed that a person can have too much of a good thing so I like to dole out pics of "Precious" one at a time. Rick.

Hey there Billy boy, You like tips do you ??? Well, here's a couple more to add to your useless information file. When your windshield wiper blades get grungy, clean them with rubbing alcohol. You'll get more than just clean wipers---you'll also prevent ice from forming on the blades. Want to brighten up the chrome or polished aluminium without buying expensive polishes ????????? Then try using the same thing you clean your teeth with. No, not the tooth Brush mate, TOOTH PASTE !!!!!! There ya go Bill, did that put a smile on your face ?????. Rick.

Rockhampton Car Show 2004
Here's another shot of "The Final Objective". With that 30 Cal. machine gun, I reckon it would be VERY final. Number 10 is about the biggest damn car these old eyes have ever seen; it's HUGE. The call it "King Cad".

My congratulations go mainly to MRS. Sean. After all, she did all the hard yards. :classic: :classic: Seriously mate, there's no greater feeling than to hold your son in your arms for the first time. My son is 37 y.o. and I can still remember the feeling quite vividly. A word of advice ; When his cries wake you in the middle of the night, don't tell your wife that she should get out of bed because it's her half that's crying. She just might use the same argument on you when the nappy (diaper) needs changing. Rick.

P-plate restrictions discussed
G'Day there Tom, Welcome to the club mate. Take the time to visit all the technical forums---you might be surprised at what you'll find and, if you need to know ANYTHING about Zeds, you only need to ask. SOMEONE will know the answer. The blokes on this site are only to happy to share their knowledge and experience. We already have a few members who are sand gropers. I guess we can put up with another one I give your parents top marks mate. It's a bloody shame there aren't more who give their kids as much chance of survival on the bitumen battlefield. Rick.

Yair, O.K. Gee, I'll be taking pics at the Rockhampton Car Show this weekend so I'll make sure to snap a pic of my Zed's dash for you. My wife put me onto the idea. She's into all sorts of hand crafts. I refer to her as my "Crafty" wife. As far as I know, my "Precious" will be the only Zed at the car show. Hope they have a section for Zeds only, I'll be sure to place. . My only other attempt was to use 1/2 inch wide chrome pinstriping tape and trimming with a sharp blade. Very time consuming, exacting work that I was not satisfied with. Rick.
