We delivered the lot to a new and promissing home this past weekend. I'm confident that the new owner will get lots of pleasure from the collection and it didn't end up in a scrapper!
In fact it was quite a trip. My brother and I rolled out of Fayetteville, AR at 11:30 pm Friday night in the midst of a driving rainstorm. We did the 'ole 'Cannonball Run' and got to Chattanooga, TN about 1:30 in the afternoon. It took us a couple of hours or so to unload (thanks to the able new owner and the cleanest garage I've ever seen!), and we hit the road back to AR. Again, we hit the same storm, missing the ice and snow by mere miles, and arrived back in AR about 1:30 am Sunday! SWEEEEET! 1400+ miles, load-unloaded, back home sleeping in my own bed in 26 hours. Wish you were there!
Thanks for your concern for the toys, and I appreciate your experience... I'm sure there will be opportunities for Z toys soon enough. I must admit that I'm pretty stoked about the daughter and the Legos, Chutes and Ladders, Candyland, etc... The wife has veto'd the race car bed for now, but time will tell...

Friends,
It's exciting around the Racer-19 house, to say the least! My wife and I are expecting our first child, An Na Grace! So, you know what's coming next; the EP/ITS car project must go...
I have posted a few shots of the stuff in my gallery (search Racer-19 or link below), including the chassis and some other go-fast goodies. The complete inventory on Excel spreadsheet is attached for your reference. It should be pretty accurate, but I can tell you for sure, that there is more than I listed... The chassis is a '72, and I have titles (may not "exactly" match the VIN) if you need one. It has steel floors welded into it (which look like the old units MSA used to sell). The anodes by the front beam appear to be originals and are excellent as you can see in the gallery shots. The previous owner left some oddly placed bondo on the rear valance, and appraently got a little over zelous when cutting out the spare tire tub, but otherwise the chassis is EXCELLENT! The under carriage still has some lines, a 255/180 diff, stub axles, and undercoating. It is on a chassis dollie that is part of the deal. The motor has an E31 head, and has been in inside storage for 6 years, along with all of the parts. I sold the distributor, so it is missing. It ran great when I parked it. Be advised that it has HIGH compression and "probably" a 280 cam, but I'm not confessing! The majority of the parts came from an ITS car that I wrecked at Gateway back in '99 (Sunday in qualifying, after a great day Saturday racing with #18, and orange and white Z, who ever that was/is.)
The complete inventory is located in Fayetteville, AR. I can arrange transportation if necessary the weekend of 12/2 (you pay the bills), but otherwise getting it is your opportunity... This is a GREAT start if you are planning to build an ITS, EP (which is what I was planning), Vintage, or auto crosser. Tha nasty work has been done (stripping, scraping, cleaning)...
I need to sell it as a lot, no parting out please. I work too much to make time for that. You can PM me for additional details, but be patient as I can't be online all day (or so my boss thinks...)! I need to get $2000 for the prize. I think this is a fair price, and if you don't that's ok. We can agree to disagree...

what does one "officially" call the trim bar that was on the top of the front and rear bumpers of the early Z?
Oh, yea, I have an AWESOME rear bar sample. If it was much better it would have to be perfect. One small dent, great chrome... it does have broken bolts in the center mounting holes, but anyone can fix that...
yes, you will probably see it on the For Sale board, like a lot of my other goodies:stupid:
Remember, tomorrow is Friday, watch out for those kiddos coming and going to school!!! Drive carefully.

...so correct 2Many... With this setup, you have virtually limitless options with the springs, both in spring rate, and ride height. The installed springs are 10", which puts it low for the street, and stiff.
Any 2.5" ID spring would fit and work very well.
Enjoy!
Remember to look out for the kiddo at the bus stop tomorrow on your way to work!

I'm selling my 240 ITS Ground Control System on the "For Sale" forum. Check it out:
http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12325
-
After multiple request via PM and email, here are the spring details:
rear 1000-250-0300 = 10" length, 2.5" ID, 300# rate
front 1000-250-0275 = 10" length, 2.5" ID, 275# rate
these are standard Eibach racing springs.
Regarding the overall length of the shortened struts:
measuring the fronts from the strut insert retaining nut to the spot where the tube enters the spindle casting = 12.75" (shortened aprox. 1.25")
measuring the rears from the strut insert retaining nut to the spot where the tube enters the stub axle casting = 13.75" (shortened aprox. 2.25")
Lastly, I have no other photos at this time. If I get some, I'll post them.
Remember, don't drink and drive!

Upon the request of a potential buyer, I opened the float bowls to check the condition of the floats (excellent!). In doing so I damaged the gaskets. I will drop-shipping a new set of float-bowl gaskets to the winning bidder.
If interested, I can/will order Grose jets at the same time (at the buyer's expense of course...) to be dropped shipped.
Thanks!

Selling a custom fuel cell from my 72 ITS car. 12 gal. Poly Jazz cell with anti-sloshing foam, all inside alluminum container, mounted to steel frame. AN fittings throughout, including roll-over check valve.
Bolt or weld tabs to the "psudeo-frame rails" under the car and bolt this in place. Obviously requires removal of the stock tank, and the tire well... Does not stick up above the inside deck level. Fab a cover for the newly created opening with a hatch for filling the cell, and go racing!
Less than 2 season on this unit. Great shape, with small dent and scuff on can. See photos on my gallery.

4.11 sold, 3.7 still available.
Although this gear is not a HUGE change from the 3.55, it does make a diferece when coming out of the corners. You have a few more revs working for you, and with our low torque motors, it all helps.
Well maintained, Redline oils only, ready to install...
$175 shipped to your door (in the lower 48).

Selling R180 3:70 welded diff. Used a couple of seasons in ITS car, great way to come out of the corners faster, with more revs, without losing that top-end speed.
It will make a big diference over your 3.55 or 3.30!
We use only Red Line oils in our diffs. Well maintained.
$175 shipped to your door (in the lower 48). Other shipping available at your expense.

You have the original Racer-19 templates. My man Cecil hooked you up!
You might consider making some paper templates and send them out to the guys in need. I could write up my cutting procedure if anyone is interested. Additionally, pay close attention to the rule book; the SCCA GCR used to call for "MR101 Lexan". The lack of availability of this product (Moldable AND scratch Resistant) is the reason I got out of the production biz... For AutoX you are set, but for SCCA competition you may need MR... Enjoy!
