It must be that 800 horsepower I'm putting to the rear wheels making that front end come up! Actually those are 300 lb springs on the rear with the cartridges adjusted fairly high on the compression setting - although I've heard several people mention that the front end always looks a tad high. Maybe it has something to do with the way those obsolete old rims look.

Hey Craig, this is actually an older picture before I installed John Coffey's block. Pictured is my original block which I grenaded at California Speedway a few years back. At least I didn't have to drain the oil out after that engine failure since all 12 quarts were nicely laid out onto the track.
Regarding the crankfire, that's one of the few components that's always been reliable on the car. Hope to see you and the faster half at the track one of these days. I think Octoberfest at Buttonwillow will be my only remaining track event for the year.

No worries; it's an old photo. Actually I managed to get the car prepared for the next race in the series, about a month later (and $2500 later also). I was able to drive the car back to the paddock, flapping hood and all.
