Dear Nissan/Datsun enthusiasts and race fans,

The 2019 Japanese Classic Car Show (JCCS) is proud to announce that the legendary Peter Brock of Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) will be a special guest at this year’s show. 2019 will be a special year, as it is the 15th anniversary for JCCS, as well as the 50th anniversary of the iconic Datsun 240Z, which debuted in fall of 1969.

Peter Brock’s BRE became one of two factory-backed Nissan racing teams back in the 1960s, and won several national racing championships in Datsun Roadster, 240Z, and 510 vehicles. Their successes helped Datsun establish their brand in the US, and made an enduring impact on how Nissan cars were viewed here in their early days.

Now, 50 years later, that history has come full circle, as Nissan has officially debuted a BRE-inspired Nissan 370Z to commemorate Z’s golden anniversary. Revealed in New York — the site of the original 240Z’s US debut — in April, the car wears the iconic BRE stripes and two-tone paint job.

It’s been 5 years since BRE joined JCCS, and we are excited to have them back! Mr. Brock will hold a meet and greet and autograph signing session with fans. JCCS is North America’s premier car show dedicated to vintage Japanese cars. It will be held at Marina Green Park in Long Beach, California, on September 21, 2019.
