Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

I'm 16 years old I wanna do a rb20det into my 240z yes I done my research about the swap rear oil dump pan and many people use the skyline motor mounts and drill 1/4in and they use a stock ecu I'm curious if anyone had a problem with the drive shaft, transmission crossmember?

Not many engine conversion people on this site. Hybrid Z is the place for that information, but you better search a lot first. They will flame you in a heart beat there...

@dotsunZ, I just noticed that you put this in our 240K Skyline forum.  This is a good place to discuss your conversion, as I am not sure if HybridZ knows much about this Australian car.  Patcon may have made that recommendation based on Z-cars, not K-cars.  Anyway, there are a lot of K-car guys in this forum and we may need to get them to help out.

In his first post he mentions the install going into a 240z...

You follow Bigphill on YouTube and all his shenanigans? He has 280z rb30 I believe. Hybrid is a great site, just search first. Oddly google is better to find hybridz info. Good luck!

Sweet!  I always wondered how much effort went into this kind of build.  Do you have more pics to share of your progress?

Ok sounds good.  You should be able to post directly from the mobile app too.

FYI, this is in the Skyline swap and sell forum, do you want me to move it to the builds area or into the 240z area?  Still not sure what car you are installing this but we should move it to another forum so people can find it easier..  Just let me know, thanks!
