All I need now is a mustache and Hawaiian shirt..........
I've got the shirt, but can't grow a mustache of that caliber. LOL

I know what picture you're thinking of, Stephen. You're probably right, you should resist the temptation. ;)

Be nice boys.............In all fairness I was a 308 fan back in 1977 well before ole Tom Selleck.

Don't get me wrong, I too like 308s. If I was going to buy an "exotic" a 308 would be high on my list.

Hi Randy:

Good For You!! I'm always happy to see someone get the Ferrari they lust after.

I will hope that the members of the Ferrari Club in your area, are as great as the members here in Florida were. Second only to the people you'll find in the Classic Z Car community, the Ferrari Club members were a great group of people to hang out with. {of course there are always one or two exceptions that prove the rule}.

No question that then and now - the styling on the 308's is simply beautiful.

It just reeks F E R R A R I....

As luck would have it - I just happen to need a good side view of a 308... so I'm going to steal yours...

Good luck with it...

Carl B.

Jon,

This one is a 1985 GTSI QV with 54k miles. All service records since new and a recent major with belts, so basically it's good to go for the next 5 years......I hope. Cost was in the mid 30's and I love the car, the sound alone is the most wonderful thing you will ever hear.

Thanks Carl,

Glad I could help with the picture. There arn't that many Ferrari guys here in town, but the few I've met in the surrounding area seem like good folks......Most wern't even wearing more than three gold chains.......LOL, and yes I'm kidding. Hope to get some pictures with the 240Z, I think they will look good together.

VERY nice !

As close as I'll ever get to one of those is the 5-spoke design of the wheels on my Z-car !

Congratulations!!! My desire for a Ferrrari has been around since I saw a 275GT in 1972. The model I want though is the 330GT 2+2 (single headlight). I keep hearing the words Ron Tonkin (owner of many dealerships in Portland, Or) said to me one day - "You'll have one". Well, one day it may just show up in my garage.

Nice choice Randy. I'm extremely jealous. I have always loved the look of the 308. I hope the wifey isn't too pissed. :)

Very cool. Love the 308 and 328!!! My dream ferrari's are the F40 and the 250GTO. Of course I will have to either win the lottery or keep dreaming :)

Would love a Dino.......Could have bought one in 1984 for $16,500.....:stupid:, but alas no money in 84.

Here's a few more pics as requested, I'll have to work on the video.

Beautiful car! I love the climate controls on the center consol, you just never see anything like that. How you like shifting with the guide plate there?

For a more practical question, how do decide when to drive it? Do you keep it low miles or do you say to hell with it, and drive it like you stole it?

That car for me has always been about the rear end profile and tail lights. It looks good driving by but just as hot as you watch it pull away

Living in the bay area and having lived in the south bay/silicon valley I have had plenty of opportunity to see and hear the exotics. There is simply nothing that sounds like an Italian V8 or V12 when it's accelerating on an onramp or bombing down the freeway
