What's in YOUR garage?

It looks great in person too. Although I have yet to see it on the wall.

This is my new garage edition (the red one not the yellow). I bought it for my wife as a surprise Xmas gift. She is a VW nut and is soooo excited she can barely contain herself. 1985 VW Cabriolet. My dad ^ (Diseazd) had a friend of ours build and install a 1.8L 8 valve since the original motor was toast.

And of course I couldn't let it sit in the garage just like that.. So I am doing a total restoration for her :)

She loves this yellow color so It's going to get painted the rare 95 Volvo T5-R yellow cream. Doing all the work myself.

My first post...thought I'd share.

In my garage:

1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Four Door (driving work in progress)

1973 Datsun 240Z (3rd owner, all original, new toy to work on / play with)

In my driveway:

2000 Jeep Wrangler

2008 Chevrolet Corvette (post divorce gift; daily driver)

I think most of us can agree we need/want more room.

The main body is completely done and it's beautiful. Went ahead and shaved the sidemarkers, fender trim holes and rocker trim holes. Not a ripple anywhere. Smooth as glass. This is 2 different stages of primer and blocksanding followed by a final primer stage. I will do a light wetsand right before I shoot the base color. The doors and passenger fender are done as well. Plan on painting it this coming Monday. So stoked!!!

My Z looks way worse than it really is because I don't have the money to hire the body and paint work and I have zero bodywork skills. I do everything myself on my cars and house, but auto body just isn't my thing. I have tried it and I suck at it. It's awesome to see others do it so well! Keep the pics coming.

72 240z

My wife's Honda Pilot stays outside.

Had the door open to run the engine after reinstalling the rad to make sure the new antifreeze is mixed through the system properly.

I found this very nice 71 521 a while back, not in the garage yet, but will be this spring. It needs a little TLC, interior is trash, runs rough but got itself on & off the trailer, bad respray, very minor rust, solid bed, new exhaust from the header back, bar code stickers still on the pipes. LOL Every guy need a truck.
