Hi Kats

The master vac hose which you have for your Z432 looks to be the same for the RHD specification 240-Z. I am very interested to know what the Nissan part number of the "fuel hose" is which you used to make your reproduction.

If you could please post the details at your convenience it would be appreciated.

Thanks again

Joseph

Thank you so much Will, the highest praise. I am so happy you like it:love:

Hi Joseph, I was thinking of you,I must tell you this finding and the part number before Chris tells us!

I attached pictures from the U.S. and Canada parts catalog and service manual, also 240Z RHD model catalog for comparison.

The number is 17239-E4600 , this can be seen in the illustration page , the hose is #18.The illustrated shape is different from the actual part, but it is just matter in this catalog.

Joseph, you can buy this hose on Ebay I saw this quite often. Or try some Z shop like Motorsport/Banzai motorworks/e.t.c. I will try local Nissan dealer in Japan if they have or not.

The third day in my holiday:

I painted white scale on the water/oil gage by myself!! Not so good but not so bad.Yesterday I replaced new gage face plates to its old originals. But I felt something uneasy. The amp/fuel gage and the clock are nos,so they are very white in their scale/letters.The old one is yellowish due its aging.

Then I decided to paint the white dot and tomorrow I will remove heater system and the gage again:stupid:

I also replace a horn pad,Z432's pad was cracked,so a new DTSUN pad became a donor,I removed the Z432 center metal badge and applied it to the new pad. Z432's badge is special, the letter of Z is painted red inlay.

Radiator fan protector,my Z432 did not come with it. Z432's radiator is made of aluminum, and the protector is attached by screws not welded. But the shape is the same of all the other S30s. Mr.Nishi reproduced it , I painted by myself.

Hi Kats

Thanks for thinking of me and also thanks for posting the Nissan part number of the particular hose as I requested.

Do you have any smart ideas as to how to make a copy of the other master vac hose; ie the one which runs from the check valve to the balance tube? Any ideas as to a hose which I could use?

Hi Joseph,

Now I realized that there are two types of the hose, valve to manifold for RHD S30.And you could not apply the hose to your car, I am sorry about that.

Let's find good ideas for it,if you have pictures of your car, please let us see.It will be some good help to think about.

I made a video link for 8TRACK operation of Z432.Please enjoy it.

I have a multi-recorder deck , I made favorite song tapes.

I did installed NOS but later gage facing (I painted white scale) , it was a hard work for me.

Was an 8 track standard on any of the Japanese models? It looks like it was an Option to be ordered.

The people in Japan that ordered the optional 8 Track got it. The people in the US that ordered the optional 8 Track got it. We sold several of them... More usual however was for customers to buy 8 Tracks in the after-market, for lower prices and/or more options like AM/FM Stereo 8 Tracks with higher output power.

29220-E4125 Kit-Radio & Tape Player AM 8TR Stereo

29400-E8725

29240-E4225 Kit-Speaker RH (AM 8TR Stereo)

29240-E4125 Kit-Speaker LH (AM 8TR Stereo)

I am sure very few people have them today. It's hard to find 8-Track tapes that will still run. They had a little piece of foam rubber in them - to hold the tape against the read heads - and most foam rubber pads today simply turn to dust, and will no longer run without wrapping themselves around the power drive. (I keep trying however).

FWIW,

Carl B.

Hi Kats:

Did you find/buy new blank 8-Track Tapes for recording? Or did you rebuild older pre-recorded 8-Track Tapes?

thanks,

Carl B.

Here's a SUPER rare Japanese market dealer accessory that I feel sure the USA market did not get ( for humanitarian reasons ):
