Bambikiller240 Posted March 22, 2005 Share #13 Posted March 22, 2005 Thanks S.D. much appreciated. I'm too cheap to get DSL. And my local cable co (comcast) requires you to have cable TV service or it charges even more than usual for the cable modem service.

sblake01 Posted March 23, 2005 Share #17 Posted March 23, 2005 Holy crap...........even if I posted pics of the cars that came out when I was born, most people likely wouldn't recognize then. So imagine 1951 Chevys, Fords, and all the other beasts out then!!! Come to think of it, what the hell does a 1951 Chevy even look like??? Well, I was born in 1950. Some of the most interesting cars came out in that era, IMO. They styling, engineering etc. was so different to what we have become accustomed to. Wood sided station wagons, large rounded shaped vehicles, distinctively styled trucks, and some very unique and highly sought after European cars. Japanese cars weren't even here in the US yet. You know what those cars look like. Your parents, like mine, drove them.
